step 2 reading
i. go through the reading strategy, and learn how to recognize reference markers.
ii. first reading:
get students to read the text. read the newspaper article and answer the following questions (part a).
1. when was the acropolis built?
in the 5th century bc
2. what was the acropolis made of?
it was made of marble.
3. who gave the acropolis its world heritage listing?
unesco.
iii. second reading
get the students to read the newspaper article again and finish the exer
