1. introduce some scientists and science to the students.

2. make sure the students can use simple english to introduce a famous scientist.

3. practice the students’ writing skill.

teaching important points   encourage the ss to say and learn some new words about science.

teaching difficult points   how to write some facts about a famous person.

teaching methods   individual work,pair work to get every student to participate in class.

teaching aids   multimedia teaching,a blackboard and some chalks.
